WHO I
AM

My name ist René Hofman, and I live in Darmstadt Germany. Aslong as i remember i was fascinated by music, being influenced by the suchs as michael Jackson and Nirvana. I Started singing and playing guitar at around 15 and have played in several bands since. At the moment, I am the frontman of Wight and Glanville, two bands I have produced, recorded and mixed.

I have studied in the Hochschule Darmstadt, where I made a bachelors degree in Arts Digital Media Sound. After a few internships in studios and vinyl cutting firms, I opened my own recording studio. My Skills come mostly from learning by doing.

WHAT I
DO

The Sound i do is better described as an authentic audio Production hybrid technology. I take the best of two worlds, analog and digital, and combine it to get the fat sounds of the 70ies with the crisp qulaity of modern productions.
